Spring has definitely sprung here in League City, Texas and everyone is outside enjoying the seasonal
temperatures.  All too soon the sweltering heat will be upon us and people will be spending more and more time
inside.  
Drop by the Needlework Cottage and stock up on your needlework supplies so that you have all the things you 
need to stitch for those days that are spent inside.

I would like to send out my appreciation to all those that attended my Ribbon Cutting Ceremony, March 29th, 
sponsored by the League City Chamber Of Commerce.  

I would like to thank Sally Pate for teaching the beginner Hardanger class and a special thanks to all those that
enrolled and spent the afternoon with us.  A enjoyable time was had by all.

I am excited to announce that Jan Wilken will be teaching a beginner Needlepoint class May 24th.  For those 
of you that are not familiar with Jan, she is an excellent designer and instructor who has been teaching for many 
years.  Her craftsmanship displays the excellence that she is known for. 
This beginner Needlepoint class will teach the student several different stitches using a wide array of fibers.  As 
you can see by this photo, it is sure to be a fun and extremely informative class.








WHEN:  May 24
WHERE:  The Needlework Cottage
TIME:  10:00 am to 4:00 pm
COST:  $65.00  The cost includes all supplies that you will need to stitch this beautiful design.  
You will need to bring a pair of scissors and a laying tool.  If you do not have a laying tool, you can purchase one 
at the Cottage.
This class will fill up quickly, so if you would like to reserve a spot for this class, please let me know and I
will see that your name gets put on the list.  A non-refundable deposit of 40.00 is required by May 17th to hold
your place.  The remainder is required by the day of the class.
